Next of Kin:  Dance Collaborative

Next of Kin was a unique collaboration between one writer and eleven choreographers, four designers, two actors and over twenty dancers who invite audiences to remember their own origin story and identify with the 14 personal stories we share; a collection of snapshots throughout a lifetime, ranging from childbirth to the loss of a loved one and everything that comes in between..  From a stand-up comedic monologue to dramatic rap, this one of a kind show weaves eleven pieces of varying dance styles with words in a brand new way, including contemporary tap performed only to the rhythm of poetry! Next of Kin journeys through the ups and downs of life, discovering that no matter where we've come from, we are never truly alone.   Click here to watch preview video.
